What makes our Homeowner coverage better than the competition? The following coverage items are automatically included on our Homeowner policies.

Homeowners Program

To learn more about this coverage, please locate an agent in your area who can provide you with a quote and submit the necessary application for our quality coverage.

"Open Perils" coverage for your personal property. This means that it covers losses from any cause that is not specifically excluded. Most policies provide coverage only for those causes actually listed.

Replacement Cost coverage for your personal property, meaning that no reduction is made in your loss for depreciation...in other words, we replace old for new.

Building Code, Law or Ordinance coverage at NO additional cost to you. When your covered loss is made greater because of the building codes, laws or ordinances which apply in your area, you will be paid for the additional costs incurred, up to the limit of liability.

Home Computer Coverage for computers and software on a replacement cost, "open perils" basis, including electrical damage and power failure.

Optional coverages are also available:

"Extended Limit" Homeowners Endorsement - for homes that are eligible, we may add this endorsement which increases the limits that apply to the dwelling, other structures and loss of use by an additional 25% at the time of the loss.

Home Business Endorsement
Our Homeowners policy can be endorsed to include many home-based businesses.

TheftOur Identity Theft Services program includes four distinct components. Identity Theft Resolution services are available if you become a victim of identity theft or account takeover. A personal fraud specialist will work with you, providing unlimited one-on-one assistance, start-to-finish, until your identity is restored. With our Proactive services, if personal data has been compromised, a fraud specialist quickly moves to safeguard your identity, lock out identity thieves, and prevent further damage. Document Recovery Following a Disaster is also included for expert help needed to restore your identification and financial records that are destroyed by a hurricane or fire. You can also access our exclusive Educational Web site, delivering up-to-date news and resources to help you better stand up to identity theft. Find out more.

Increased Limits for Specific Property - furs, jewelry, silverware, money, credit card, computers, and more --- the Homeowners policy has limits for each of these types of personal property, but these limits can be increased. We even make it possible for you to insure certain items, such as fine arts, cameras, golf equipment, and other property with specifically described values.

Personal Excess Liability - Excess liability at a limit of up to $5,000,000 is available as an endorsement to the Homeowners Policy. This Excess Liability coverage protects you when you are sued for a covered loss and the amount exceeds the liability limits of your primary policies, such as Homeowners or Automobile.

Special Coverage Enhancement Endorsement
This endorsement increases limits on jewelry and cash, includes sewer/septic backup and sump pump failure, and provides many additional coverages for you and your home.
